Lanticora - Mana Colors

Mana (aka Aether) is a gaslike fluid flowing from the center of a world. Mana has several different colors it can take on when flowing from the core of a world. Life on a world is able to absorb certain colors of mana depending on what their Mana Seal (A container for mana) is able to hold. Some lifeforms are able to flow mana out of their seals and manipulate the shape as it flows out into the world; this causes the mana to manipulate the world around the user based on the shape they formed the mana. The more complicated and detailed the shape the more potent the manipulation of the world.

Mana Colors

Mana colors are seperated into 7 varieties. Though most races are known for a specific mana color this is based on the hierarchy of said races. listed below are the 7 primary mana colors and their capabilities.

White: Infinity: Creates objects from mana mimicking their properties
Purple: Summoning: Summons creatures and objects and allows the user to link with their summon

Pink: Enchantment: Manipulates the properties if objects and creatures

Green: Banishment: the ability to remove a creature or object from existence those who are good are even able to sever links between things
Orange: Elementalism: Manipulates water, fire, air, plants

Black: Void: Removes objects or concepts from existence

Blue Illusion: Manipulates perception and emotion of creatures

Mana Families

Mana Families are a collection of Mana Colors that are similar to each other. The structure of some spells in the same mana family can produce the same results as the same structure with the familial color, a summoner summoning an apple or an infinimancer creating an apple have the same mana structure. Mana Families are split into 4 main groups.

Creationary: mana types that are structured to create new things with mana this includes Infinity, and Summoning

Manipulative: mana types that are structured to change the properties of things that already exists this includes Enchantment, and Elementalism

Destructive: mana types that remove things from their current location or from existence these include Void and Banishment

Illusion: This is the only mana family that only contains one mana type as it is structured so differently from all other families this includes Illusion

These mana families are similar in spell structure meaning some spells can have similar structure and produce similar results.
