Summary

Deep Elves are a fish like subrace of elves who were cursed by the green elves during a war on their original planet. They are commonly known to posses water elemental magic an uncommon find amongst any other race due to elemental magic usually being combined. They are cursed with being incapable of surfacing to land due to the curse placed upon them by the green elves. due to the evolutions that had to be made to survive in their climate they developed fins and scales to traverse the water easier and a small needle like phallus on the males to not cause drag in the water. They are usually kind to other races and build complicated architecture underwater with their water magic. The most notable Deep Elf is Figlespine, he was the first elf to be able to enter the noble houses as a member after his accomplishments during The Great Artifact War as the leader of the League of Knights and the first to test the land dwelling enchantment the green elves created. 

Appearance

Deep elves are fish like in appearance with smooth scales covering their entire body and fin like apendages that are extendable from their forearms. their average stature is around 153cm to 170cm. Commonly seen with water elemental mana seals and adorned with eroded shells in their jewelry. Powerful deep elves often adorn themselves with a translucent blue stone with a hole bore into the center which allow them to traverse on land without activating their curse.

Background

Deep elves once were the most powerful race of elves with their ability to cast water fluently magic and their general abilities with magic. One day however the High Elves declared a coup against the deep elves due to fear they would become far too powerful and attempt to oppress the other elves. Due to this the deep elves moved to a seperate island closeby creating a bridge they could manage at will from their location in case they would ever need to go back. Eventually they would start a war with the green elves in an attempt to learn their secret magic so they would not have to trade to obtain fruits and vegetables and could eat things other than fish. During this war the Green Elves would come together and cast a ritual curse on the deep elves to slowly mold as they walked on land to deter them from coming inward to attack the Green Elf capital.

Procreation

When a male deep elf attempts to procreate with a female deep elf they must stab their pin-like penis into the female's abdomen after which the penis rips it'self off the deep elf's body and digs into the female's womb where it proceeds to impregnate. after this process is done the female will let out a collection of eggs and the male over the next few weeks becomes a new female deep elf.
